Our team of highly trained and experienced operators and technicians is ready to help. We can assist you in the design, prototyping and production of all sizes. Our quality assurance analysts monitor all phases of production from start to finish including final inspection and certification of finished product. West-Tech Finishing Inc., specializing in the surface treatment of aluminum, was established in 1988 by Matteo Iacovelli and Mr. Bob Ford. We are based in Vaughan, Ontario and service clients across Canada and the USA.
In 1997, our Quality Management System was registered to ISO 9002:1994 and QS 9000, followed by an upgrade to ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 Rev D. Throughout the years, West-Tech Finishing has been able to provide the highest quality in hard anodizing, sulphuric anodizing and chemical conversion coating.

For almost 40 years, we've provided aluminum anodizing and precision metal finishing for aerospace and defence manufacturers from our Vaughan, Ontario facility. Our in-house capabilities include clear, gunmetal, and black finishes, along with custom racking, masking, and plugging for selective coating and complex parts.

Bob Ford — Co-Founder & General Manager, 1948–2022
Bob Ford co-founded West-Tech Finishing in 1988 alongside Matteo Iacovelli. Bob brought his experience from the finishing industry — earned at Spar Aerospace Products — together with Matteo's machine shop, on a simple idea: give customers one trusted place for both machining and finishing, done right and delivered on time.
Over more than 38 years as General Manager, Bob built a team of dedicated people and a reputation for quality that still defines West-Tech today. He remained a trusted mentor to the team even after retirement.
As the company moves forward, we carry his standards with us. West-Tech was built on his vision, and his legacy lives on in every part we finish.
